I am yet to meet someone who would be like, “I don’t care about money, I don’t need money.” I am no statistician and I don’t feel like researching on it cause I am pretty sure I am right that money is probably the most talked about topic, whether at church or motivational retreats. It is probably the most sung about topic and it is one of the top reason most couples fight. I also know there is no winning with money, too much of it is a problem, too little of it is like being the director, producer, main actor in your own little horror movie. I heard that the lack of money is also a root of evil lol and I believe it!!!

I grew up in a “normal” household, I wouldn’t say we were wealthy we just had enough. I learnt to appreciate what I had at the time and that has grounded me so I can safely in as much as money is necessary in my life, it is not a huge motivator. There are things I can do for no pay

1. Shopping: I love shopping, I can shop for days (bucket list) for a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. I can spend hours on the internet, window(s) shopping looool. If someone asked me to shop for them for no pay I would gladly say yes and if it’s on a blank cheque, I would go crazy!!!!!!
2. Crocheting: This one melts my heart! I love to crochet. When my grandmother passed on, I inherited her crochet hook, I bought yarn and asked my mum’s friend to teach me and I have never looked back. It is one of the most fulfilling things, just the thought that from this yarn I created something so beautiful….is amazing
3. Chocolate tasting: This, now this I would for life and believe it or not, people actually go to school for this lol.Imagine just waking up in Switzerland and all you have to do is dress up to go and taste chokolates, too much of a good thing….nah not me

There is only so much one can do for no pay cause you need to survive at the end of the day. Me thinks that definitely one thing you should do for no pay should improve the standard of living of someone less fortunate especially when it is within your capacity to do so 🙂
