I started off this year with this song as like my fight song. I wasn’t messing around y’all…. I only wish that was still the case, the way my emotions are set up, it’s a mess.

To be honest I started the year off really well then Zim happened. I know I really shouldn’t be blaming the economy for my incompetence, I know I should be the master of my destiny, I know I should take control and be in charge of my life and happiness but I have been feeling more meeeeeh-bleeeeh-do-i-wish-I-could-sleep-and-never-wake-up more than I have been feeling yeeeeey-I’m-walking-on-sunshine-and-it’s-going-to-be-a-perfect-day, ever have days like that?

It has been real, life has been real. It literally felt like one blow after another and each blow worse than the one before but looky looky I am still here. God has taken care of me physically, mentally and spiritually even when I felt like this is the end, I can’t possibly take any more, He just held me up. When I didn’t feel like waking up, He gave me a song in my heart and I found myself dragging my feet, bawling my eyes out of bed screaming, “I got this, I got this!”

So here I am, everyday encouraging myself, an imperfect human being so graciously involved in God’s plan looking forward to a future so bright standing on His promises.
