It is so interesting that in this amazing and vast world that we live in we are so limited to where we are, some people do not dream to go beyond where they are now, well for some its circumstantial, they can’t afford to travel to all these places that we would love to go to and for some it’s well, lack of knowledge: allow me to enlighten you.

Each person should have that ideal place that they would love to go to or that they can escape to every once in a while; a safe haven, for me there are sooooo many places I would love to escape to…my place….but if I could go on a voyage around the world like the famous Mr. Columbus my first stop would be Mozambique.

White sands, crystal clear water, breathtaking sunsets, ethnetic accommodation, fantastic cuisine and adrenaline pumping activities; that’s my kind of place and this best describes Azura at Quilalea Private Island… This private island is found in Mozambique.

I have a thousand loves for this place, I mean I wouldn’t mind living in this place for the rest of my life…not only is it out of this world amazing but its sustainable with their innovative sunset villa outside shower; showering with a difference, making a difference, in touch with mother nature 🙂 

I do not know of many lodges or resorts that are this sustainable, not only do they want their guests to be green but to also enjoy a shower with a different view. The view you have from the shower must be out of this world, the sunrise, sunset, sun, moon and stars what more would you want..no fears of an unexpected audience… hopefully;))

 As a core hotelier myself I understand the importance of cuisine and fine dining. At Azura they say the dining is all part of the amazing experience; picnic on a sandy island and dining on a candle lit beach beneath the stars, if food doesn’t go down well under such circumstances then man I don’t know…
